Fair Dedication
While multitudes of families and organizations encompass what it means to volunteer at and support the Queen Anne’s County Fair; this year’s dedicated family fully and truly embraces the selfless and tireless backing required to keep traditions alive in Queen Anne’s County agriculture.
The Potter Family can trace their fair roots back over 50 years, with the entirety of their family involved through the decades. Their participation was not secular; they assisted and volunteered with all aspects of this great event including competing as 4-H members, to volunteering their time in conducting events, and standing as members on the 4-H Park Board and Fair Board. Family members fondly recall organizing the 4-H Indoor Exhibits, the Talent Show, Trike Races, and countless horse related events.
Their dedication to the preservation of Queen Anne’s County 4-H tradition is almost unparalleled. This nod to an exceptional family is well deserved and well earned! Congratulations to the Potter Family!
